Gotta have the hipster beanie when wave hunting. That’s the hardest thing about surfing is the fashion, I spent all my money on knee length board shorts and singlets now can’t afford the current op shop homeless style clothing and I don’t look like everyone else at manu bay!

The shit actually works. I was in NZ and ran out of wax so I bought a block of sticky Johnson. I can't use sex wax because it's too oily but this wax , sticky Johnson, works great.

Lopez was at Ulu in the 70's , not late 80's. Not that it matters.
Nah, he found Bali in 70’s, Ulus in ‘89 just after he’d first surfed G-Land

@@RaglanSurfReport I surfed Ulu in 1979 ,,along with plenty of other people. Australians surfed it in the early 70's.. Lopez surfed Ulu in 1975 in the film Chasing the Lotus. I surfed G land in 1982 , and I know that Lopez had been there well before me.
@@Leonardo555ZZZ my uncle was actually with Garry Lopez when he first discovered Ulus, he told me on his death bed that it was definitely ’89 when they found it, reckons outside corner was bombing 12-15 foot and perfect! They surfed it for 3 days straight and had to leave after their boards had washed out to sea, that’s what gave my uncle the idea to invent the leg rope!
